  • Often times, parents forget that their role as a parent goes beyond providing food and shelter. Often times, education - which ought to start with the mother - is left in the hands of teachers who know nothing more than what's in the text book.
  • Asian and Indian customs have not yet grown out of the "arranged marriage" phenomenon. Often times, parents in this part of the world do not value their daughter's happiness after the wedding as much as they value the wealth and the status of the groom, the DOA state of his parents, and the dowry.
